Ah, the fresh air, the gravel under our feet, and trash in our bags. Yesterday was the Belle Isle Fall CITO. TaGeez and I missed it last Spring (minor thing like a broken leg, you know) so it was great to get out with friends again. You can tell the culture of the Isle has changed since the state took it over as a state park - more snack bags than liquor bottles in our trash bags.
We did manage a little geocaching along the way...

...and when friends gather with tools, there is often a picker war.
Plus a little horseplay at the Nature Center.
