Oh, I thought the insanity of winter was going to get the better of me. Luckily, we had a little warm-up in Southeastern Michigan, and TaGeez & I got out for some Vitamin D and geocaching!

Saturday found us in Rochester where we had a surprising find outside a bakery - a nice surprise in the container used to treat ourselves to a shared bumpy cupcake inside - YUM! Look how cute these cakes are!
And Sunday we headed to Ypsilanti. Have you seen their water tower? How can you take life seriously with THAT appearing on the horizon?
It was a relaxing drive in the sunlight along US 12/Michigan Avenue.
Lots of park and grabs netted us 17 smilies before heading to downtown Ypsi for lunch at Maiz.
So nice going out and getting our feet wet (and muddy!)
