Mastodon Mania

A few more pictures from our Earth Cache Adventure. TaGeez and WikidKriket are a hoot!

We completed the Earth Cache "Adams Road Mastodon" GC1WGFJ and the Traditional "Stuck in the Mud" GC1HG5B.

If you get a chance read them. This site was the 16th mastodon to have been found in Oakland County!

Sand Spiders, Horse Hawks, and Forgotten Fish

I thought I'd share some more silly pictures from the expedition after theGrundalow's 7 Souvenirs of August Kickoff Event GC54D98.

TaGeez, WikidKriket, DarrylW4, AFishOutOfWater and I hit the new letterbox at Hartsig Park!

Collecting Stamps in the Land of Hartsig (Park) GC58WM0 was a fun adventure involving dwarves, Swallowing Sands, Sand Spiders, Horse Hawks, Hydra Trees and a Forgotten Fish!

7 Souvenirs of August - Success!

We didn't mean to complete them so quickly (at Day #3 of the month I was #1441 to complete the challenge) - it just happened!

On Friday, I finally qualified for this difficult challenge near work (Puzzler). That night was a kickoff event (Socializer). Afterwards, a group wanted to try to pickup a newly-published Letterbox (Collector) which passed right by a new Traditional (Explorer).

At the Roseville event the next day, one of our last caches was a six-stage Multi (Sightseer).

Today, TaGeez, WikidKriket and I decided that no ordinary vernal pond would suit our final challenge so we headed out to the fabulous Adams Road Mastodon Earth Cache (Nature Lover) for the last cache needed.

After logging my finds, I earned my Achiever badge - Woot!

I'm "The Sightseer"

Nailed it! In gearing up for the 7 Souvenirs of August, Groundspeak put out this fun survey to determine what kind of geocacher are you!

I think they nailed it! After seeing my blog, don't you agree?
