I may have the opportunity to do a special webcam at San
Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf – At The
Pier GCMKWT featuring the sea lions of Pier 39.
After some experimenting, I’ve discovered that I can take a
SUPER clear picture using the webcam using my iPhone. However, if someone move’s the webcam, I can’t
control it from my phone to move it back.
For my friends, here is a list of instructions to work the
camera.
1. Click the link: http://www.pier39marina.com/the-sealions-at-pier39/
2. Scroll down to the bottom where the webcam displays.
2. Scroll down to the bottom where the webcam displays.
3. Hover over the image – the Control button will appear. Click Control.
4. After you gain control, the Positions button will appear to the
left. Click Positions.
5. Select K-Dock from the list. Sometimes people can also be seen using Sea Lions - Left Front.
It should look like this. If you see me, snap a picture. If you don’t see me, let me know I’m not in
the frame. There’s a lag time between
the moving of the camera and me seeing it on the iPhone.
I’ll let you know what happens!
Beware it stink there...and its really loud, too
ReplyDeleteLol - This one falls under the header of "If only I'd been geocaching when I visited before!" Should be nice & smelly this time of year!
